A Holocaust survivor born in Budapest, Hungary, Dr. Goldberger and his family settled in Detroit, Michigan. He earned his medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine and served in Vietnam as a U.S. Army physician during the Vietnam War. Dr. Goldberger worked as an anesthesiologist in private practice in Pontiac and Grand Rapids for 32 years.Dr. Lee Pool passed away on August 8, 2015. He graduated from Calvin College and received his medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine. Following his residency at Butterworth Hospital, Dr. Pool practiced as a surgeon in the Grand Rapids area for 40 years.
